🥘 Ingredients

  • 2 cups basmati rice
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 cup fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 cup fresh chives, chopped
  • 3 tbsp butter or olive oil
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • Sea salt to taste

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Rinse basmati rice until water runs clear
  2. Bring water to boil with salt and turmeric
  3. Add rice, reduce heat, cover and cook for 15 minutes
  4. While rice cooks, chop all fresh herbs
  5. When rice is done, fluff with fork
  6. Gently fold in fresh herbs and butter
  7. Let sit covered for 5 minutes
  8. Serve warm with grilled chicken or lamb
